The Backlash against Forced Arbitration as a Condition of Employment

It is shocking how many employers subject workers to mandatory arbitration agreements – literally stripping away their civil rights — as a condition of employment. Among non-union private sector employees, 56.2% have mandatory arbitration clauses, a percentage that has risen significantly over the past few decades.
